Nassau Hockey Champs!
After 4 years I’ve finally been able to be on the winning team of the Nassau Street Hockey League Championship. Here is an exert from the USA Today article describing the finals…
“It looks as if another season has come to end. For those who missed the game last night it was quite a finish. The Hurricanes were down by 1 goal with 20 seconds remaining and managed to tie it up. Just when it looked as though the game was headed for overtime Paul Martin Seguin sent Sean Shapcott in on his patented ‘hanging at the blue line’ breakaway and Sean beat Kevin Taylor to score the game winning goal only 8 seconds later! It was definitely a great finish and a night Sean and his fellow Nassau Kings will not soon forget.”
