Chelsea vs Manchester United
This week I got an email from my buddy Ben that he was going to be able to hook me up with 2 tickets to the Chelsea - Manchester United Game. It goes without saying that Ben kicks ass. Not only did he hook us up with tickets but killer tickets at that. It was the perfect way for Beth to enjoy her first game.
The whole buzz around a soccer game in England is amazing. Before the game we went to a PUB for a drink. As we walked down the street you could hear the pubs buzzing with people chanting and cheering inside. These fans really get fired up.
It wasn’t as heated a game as it could have been (Manchester had clinched the title the weekend before). It was still a great experience. The Manchester fans were in full force celebrating being newly crowned champions. The entire game they were on their feet chanting, screaming and clapping like maniacs. It was great. We were obviously with the Chelsea fans so we booed them for their efforts. One of the funniest lines of the night was when I turned to the kids next to me and asked them what they thought of the Manchester fans and their cheering. His reply: “I don’t think much of them really.” LoL Even when they are mean the British are so polite 
I can’t say all the fans were as polite as the kids. In fact the ref blew a call at one point and the whole stadium started chanting “The Ref’s a F*&@ing Asshole!” lol Why can’t we have chants like that at Hockey games? I can just picture a Maple Leafs chant going something like this “The Leafs F*&@ing Suck!”
After the game we went out for drinks with Ben and his buddies. His buddy Rob actually supplies London with all their high end cars (What a story lol). Here are some pics from the night. (Some videos to follow once I find an efficient way to encode them)
